Columbia teen badly hurt in southwest Missouri crash

A Columbia teenager is badly hurt because of a crash in the Springfield area.

The Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Eric Crow was the passenger in a pickup that went off a gravel road north of Marshfield on Saturday afternoon. The truck hit a ditch, flipped, then slammed into a fence. Crow has serious injuries.

The southwest Missouri driver, 51-year-old James McCabe of Long Lane, Missouri, is now facing charges of felony vehicular assault, DWI, and careless and imprudent driving.

  1. This is eric Crow from the wreck. Got curious and looked this up to see if it was still up and glad to say a little over a year later I’m ok but have permanent yet severe scaring on my right arm and have a hard time with my memory still and have breathing problems but doesnt affect the stuff I love to do
