Coronavirus case growth slightly drops off in local counties

Local counties again reported increases in coronavirus cases Thursday, but not by record increments as seen earlier this month.

Boone County reported 24 more cases Thursday. Cole County added nine more positives. Callaway County reported five. Audrain and Saline counties both added two.

Missouri confirmed 708 new cases Thursday, which is relatively high but lower than the last two days. The state added 10 more COVID-19 deaths, for a total of 1,103.
