COVID-19 Update (Nov. 3)

Boone County reported a 17th county resident has died from COVID-19. Health officials said Tuesday the patient was older than 80.

COVID-19 hospitalizations keep rising in Boone County. The latest record high is 105, as of Tuesday. There were 82 new coronavirus cases reported Tuesday, and active cases rose to 516.

Cole County reported two more COVID-19 deaths Tuesday. Both patients were in long-term facilities. That brings total COVID-19 deaths in Cole County to 22. Active cases went up, to 458, after 68 new positives Tuesday.

Callaway County reported its ninth COVID-19 death on Monday. The county added 133 new cases since Friday, and active cases shot up to 450.
