The man accused in a deadly Columbia crash this month is now in custody.
Lukas Evans, 20, was arrested Sunday on charges of second degree murder and leaving the scene of an accident.
Police say Evans tried to pass someone in a no-pass zone on West Boulevard on Feb. 16 and hit Jordan Hoyt’s car head-on. The 37-year-old Hoyt has died.
Evans had allegedly just driven away from another crash at West and Stadium.
