Eleven laid off, hundreds more furloughed in latest round of MU job cuts

The University of Missouri announced more furloughs, layoffs and pay cuts Friday.

Another 384 workers have been furloughed, 26 more are taking pay cuts, and 11 more have lost their job as part of the university’s cost-saving measures during the coronavirus pandemic.

Since May 1, 3,011 MU employees have been furloughed, 1,956 have taken less pay and 148 have been laid off.
