Fulton man arrested after alleged violent domestic assault

A Fulton domestic assault suspect is arrested after police say he picked up a small child while holding a knife.

Police arrested Christopher Cornett on Tuesday night. Investigators say he forced his way into a home on King Street, grabbed a victim by the throat, and muffled her screams and took away her cell phone.

Cornett, 31, is in jail with no bond.
