Gov. Parson warns against price gouging from natural gas companies

Gov. Mike Parson said Thursday the state is on the lookout for natural gas companies that are jacking up prices during this cold weather spell.

“We will not tolerate any effort to price gouge or take advantage of customers at a time when there is no other choice or alternative option,” said Parson.

Parson said you should call the state attorney general’s office if you think you’re a victim of price gouging.

The governor also said Thursday he and the First Lady both received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine last week.
