Jefferson City schools to offer in-person, online class options

The Jefferson City School District plans on in-person classes this fall.

The district announced on Wednesday that students can also apply to learn online through Launch, the platform the district used in summer school this year. You’ve got to request the online option by Aug. 3, and the district has to approve it. Launch will provide the technology device. Middle and high schoolers can do a hybrid of in-person and online courses, if approved.

Staff and students in grades 6-12 will have to wear masks when they can not social distance. Everyone on a school bus will have to wear masks.
