It appears that Lucky’s Market in Columbia will remain open.
The grocery store chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this week.
It announced last week that most of its stores nationwide will be closing, but the Columbia location and six others will be spared from that.
ALDI and Publix have agreed to purchase 11 of Lucky’s other stores.
