A Jefferson City man is arrested after a chase and standoff with police.
Officers say the man was wanted on warrants when police tried to pull him over on Stadium Blvd. near Helias High School on Wednesday afternoon. They say he took off and crashed into another car at Stadium and Southwest Blvd.
The suspect, 42-year-old Samuel Allen, had a small child in the car with him and it took a while for officers to talk him into surrendering. The child is okay.
