A man is in custody after a standoff in northwest Columbia.
Police told ABC 17 that they tried negotiating with 27-year-old Timothy Rottets who had an arrest warrant for a parole violation for assault and dangerous weapons.
When Rottets didn’t come out of an apartment complex, officers used non-lethal rounds to shoot out windows to toss a phone inside the apartment to communicate with him.
No other information was released.
