Columbia Police are investigating a head-on crash in the southwest part of town.
Officers say David Earls, 33, was going the wrong way on Scott Boulevard near Southview Drive on Saturday afternoon. An SUV apparently swerved into the other lanes to avoid him, but Earls swerved too and crashed into the SUV.
Earls has serious injuries at last check. The four people from Eureka in the SUV have minor injuries.
No word yet on if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident.
