State troopers say 13 people have now drowned this year in mid-Missouri’s Troop F, most of them at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Troopers say a man from northwest Missouri’s Bosworth is the latest victim, after jumping off a 125-foot cliff Saturday afternoon at the Lake. 41-year-old Thomas Painter never resurfaced.
The incident happened in the main channel.
