Investigators say an argument over cigarettes led to a stabbing in east Columbia.
Boone County authorities say a 46-year-old man got stabbed early Tuesday morning on Demaret Drive.
Deputies arrested Denice Norwood, 49, about an hour later. They say she stabbed the victim as he was leaving her house. She’s in jail on charges of first degree assault and armed criminal action.
That victim was treated at a hospital and released.
