Mid-Missouri hit with rare October snow

We have not seen this much snow, this early in October, in more than a hundred years.

Columbia Regional Airport recorded 0.4″ of snow yesterday (tue). That is the most since 1.2″ fell on Oct. 26, 1913.

A wintry mix of precipitation caused several accidents on mid-Missouri roads starting Monday morning. Forecasters expected better travel conditions on Tuesday.
