Police investigate home invasion in south Columbia

Columbia police are looking for a weekend home break-in suspect.

They responded to a home invasion at around 2:15 a.m. on Nikki Way in south Columbia. Authorities say the suspect broke in through the front door, then fired a gunshot into a wall before escaping. The suspect was last seen driving away on Carrieridge Drive.

No one was hurt. No arrests reported yet.
