Coronavirus concerns cancel most events at the Missouri State Fair.
The fair board announced Friday this year’s event in Sedalia will only feature the youth livestock show. It’s scheduled for Aug. 13-23.

The board said they needed to shrink crowd sizes to keep everyone safe. Some sponsors and vendors had also backed out or limited their participation.
The fair will issue refunds necessary for the canceled events.
