Mizzou men’s basketball is retiring the jersey of a Tiger star from the 1970’s.
John Brown was named first-team all-Big Eight after his junior and senior seasons. He was named an all-American in 1973. Brown also played for the U.S. Olympic team in 1972.
Brown’s No. 50 jersey will be retired during a ceremony at halftime of the Ole Miss game on Mar. 9. Mizzou has also retired Derrick Chievous’ jersey this season.
