Mizzou loses to LSU on Senior Day

Mizzou basketball ended the regular season with an 86-80 home loss to LSU on Saturday.

MU tied the game at 80 late in the contest on a Mitchell Smith putback, but LSU scored the last six points over the final 1:02 to close out the win.

Dru Smith, one of five seniors playing their final home game, led Mizzou in scoring with 17 points.

The Tigers (15-8, 8-8) next head into the SEC Tournament. They will be the No. 7 seed in Nashville, matching up with the No. 10 seed Georgia on Thursday night. The winner of that game gets the No. 2 seed Arkansas in the quarterfinals on Friday.
