Patrol: Large amount of meth found in Cooper County bust

Authorities in mid-Missouri say they took more than $1 million worth of meth off the streets.

A Cooper County K9 unit sniffed out the drugs during a traffic stop on I-70 a few miles west of Boonville late Saturday night. Troopers allegedly found more than 75 pounds of meth in the car.

Ramon Rodriguez, 52, from Fontana, California, was arrested soon after the traffic stop on first degree drug trafficking charges.
