Moberly police arrest two on warrants

It was two wanted men for the price of one in Moberly on Thursady.

Police say they went to the intersection of Halleck and Promenade streets looking for a guy that had two felony warrants. They found and arrested 49-year-old Ronald Smith, who did have a drug warrant. But he wasn’t the target.

Ross Minks was, and they spotted him too. The 45-year-old allegedly tried to pedal away on a bicycle, but the cops tracked him down. Minks had warrants for drugs in Marion County, and fraudulent use of a credit device out of Randolph County.
