MODOT examining traffic flow on Jefferson City’s Missouri River Bridge

If you’ve ever had to try to get back on the Missouri River Bridge headed into Jefferson City at rush hour you know what a challenge it can be.

MODOT’s Dave Sylvester says Route W in old Cedar City can get jammed up in a hurry.

“We’re going to work with a lot of the businesses,” Sylvester said. “You got the airport, you got the MFA, you got the soccer moms and dads that go out to the soccer fields, you’ve got the Katy Trail folks, etc.”

Sylvester says working on that interchange is high on Mo-Dot’s wish list.
