MoDOT’s first open house for I-70 rebuild/expansion between Columbia and Rocheport is Monday

You have two opportunities this week to view detailed maps and ask questions about the $441-million plan to improve I-70’s 14 miles between mid-Missouri’s Rocheport and Columbia.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) says open houses will be held Monday from 4-7 pm at Boone Electric on Rangeline in Columbia and on Wednesday from 5-7 pm at Midway Golf and Games.

MoDOT says a dogbone interchange is planned at I-70 and Midway, along with new truck parking facilities.

Columbia-based Emery Sapp and Sons has been selected as the design-build contractor for the $441-million I-70 project between Rocheport and Columbia.
