Most of Missouri’s delegation in favor of farm bill

Almost all of Missouri’s delegation to the U.S. House is in favor of the $867 billion farm bill that passed the chamber with bipartisan support.

Kansas City Democrat Emanuel Cleaver, a Kansas City Democrat who also represents farmers in Western Missouri, is happy Republicans did not include an increased work requirement for people on food stamp.

Republican Vicky Hartzler was the only one who did not vote, but only because her father’s death caused her to be absent.
