MU Police say the elderly Columbia woman who was missing this weekend has been found safe.
MUPD officers are crediting the public for helping to find 71-year-old Theresa Antonine-Mitchell, who had been last seen at the Newman Center on the Mizzou campus on Saturday evening, before being located on Sunday.
“This was truly a community effort, and we are grateful for everyone who helped spread the word. Their efforts helped bring Theresa home,” MUPS says, in a release.
