The NAACP plans to rally Saturday evening in downtown Columbia, on issues involving racial equity and voter ID.
The NAACP rally starts tomorrow evening at 5 at Second Missionary Baptist Church, before participants march to the columns at the Boone County Courthouse.
Columbia health officials will also host a community clinic at the rally, to give free COVID vaccinations. The vaccines will be given from 5:30-7:30 pm, and no appointment is necessary.
The rally is aimed at supporting the NAACP’s national rally in Washington.
