NCAA upholds sanctions against Mizzou’s athletics program

The NCAA announced on Tuesday that it is upholding sanctions against the University of Missouri’s athletics program in connection with an athlete tutoring scandal.

MU Chancellor Alexander Cartwright and Athletic Director Jim Sterk said they were deeply disappointed and appalled by the NCAA Infractions Appeals Committee’s decision.
