It’s a third straight loss for Mizzou basketball.
The No. 20 Tigers fell at Georgia 80-70 on Tuesday night. Mizzou led by 13 points early in the second half before the Bulldogs went on their big run.
Most of the 13 turnovers on the night for Cuonzo Martin’s team came in the second half.
“We had great energy, a great game plan, everything we were trying to do, just we couldn’t maintain for whatever reason and just really execute what we try to do offensively,” Martin said.
Forward Jeremiah Tilmon missed his second straight game because of a death in the family. Kobe Brown led Mizzou with a career high 21 points. The Tigers fall to 13-6 on the year, and seventh in the SEC standings at 6-6.
