Numerous school closings in central Missouri, due to snowstorm

Columbia Public Schools (CPS) and Jefferson City Public Schools (CPS) are the largest school districts in the listening area to cancel classes for today (Wednesday), due to the snowstorm.

Columbia College day campus classes are canceled, and staff members will work virtually. Lincoln University’s campus in Jefferson City is closed today and tomorrow, and in-person classes are cancelled. Here in Columbia, the Mizzou campus and the UM System office has shifted to remote operations/classes for today and tomorrow.

Ashland, Fulton, Boonville, Hallsville, New Franklin R-1, High Point R-1 and Iberia R-5 are also closed today. You can find the full list on our website.
