UPDATE – 12/10 6:00 p.m.: Columbia police are searching for a suspect after a man was found dead in north Columbia.
Police say 36-year-old Marceino Carlous Moore was shot in the back of the head in the Welcome Inn parking lot, just before midnight Monday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspect information from CPD yet.
ORIGINAL: One person is dead Tuesday morning after a shooting in north Columbia.
ABC 17 reports one person was killed at the Welcome Inn.
Police said one person was found with a gunshot wound to the back of the head.
No suspects have been arrested yet and the identity of the victim has not been released.
