Parson announces daycare work group

Governor Parson has a new group now working on quality and safety steps at Missouri daycares.

The announcement comes after a St. Louis County daycare worker was caught on video throwing a three-year-old against a cabinet last month.

“One case of abuse is too many,” Parson says, according to Missourinet. “The safety of our children must be a priority for all of us.”

The little girl needed stitches on her head. The worker is facing child abuse charges.
