It was another night of apparently peaceful protests in Columbia over the death of George Floyd.
Police did not report any issues during Thursday night’s demonstrations in the downtown area.
About 150 MU Health Care workers knelt together on campus for eight minutes and 46 seconds on Thursday. That is how long a Minneapolis police officer had his knee on Floyd’s neck when Floyd died last week.
We kneel together to promote change. As a health system, we stand for racial justice and health equity. pic.twitter.com/1FGJcdjg7f
