Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash on I-70 in Callaway County identified; Missouri state troopers looking for driver

Missouri state troopers have identified the pedestrian killed early Wednesday on I-70 near Kingdom City as a Fulton man.

Troopers say 53-year-old Clarence Guyton was struck by an unknown vehicle.

Patrol Corporal Kyle Green tells 939 the Eagle that the driver did not stop, and that this is being investigated as a hit-and-run.

Troopers say the crash is believed to have happened between 4 and 4:30 on Wednesday morning, according to the Patrol’s crash report.

Missouri state troopers are encouraging anyone who witnessed the deadly hit-and-run crash to call them. The incident happened near the 148 mile marker. Anyone with information on the crash can call Patrol Corporal Justin Turner: his number is (573) 751-1000.
