A six-year-old has serious injuries after a pickup runs him over.
The Highway Patrol says the little boy was hiding behind the truck at the Vandalia Fairgrounds at about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday. The pickup hit him while driver Michael Klug was backing up.
The boy was flown to the hospital.
