Police arrest central Columbia stabbing suspect

Columbia police have caught the suspect in a stabbing from early Friday morning.

Authorities say Larry Galbreath, 50, is in custody on charges of first-degree domestic assault and more.

He allegedly attacked a 34-year old woman with a knife on Park Avenue at about 4:30 a.m.

The woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
