Two people are dead, and a third person is badly hurt, after multiple weekend shootings in central Columbia.
Police say two people were shot at about 11:55 p.m. Friday near Forest and Grand avenues. Nadria Wright, 18, was later pronounced dead at a hospital. Sam Baldwin IV, 28, has life-threatening injuries at last check.
At about 2 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to another shooting near 5th and Park avenues. E’quan Spain, 19, wound up in a hospital soon after that, where he was pronounced dead.
CPD has not released any information on suspects yet.
