Prosecutors charge wanted suspect in Jefferson City shooting

Cole County’s prosecutor has filed charges against the man authorities say shot someone in Jefferson City late Monday.

Michael Miller, 27, is wanted on charges of armed criminal action, first degree robbery, first degree assault, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful use of a firearm after the shooting on Monroe Street near Stadium Boulevard.

Investigators say Miller shot the victim while robbing him. That victim is in the hospital with serious injuries at last check.
