Springfield Walmart suspect facing terrorist threat charge

Prosecutors are going to push a felony charge against the man who caused a scare in a Springfield Walmart last week.

Dmitriy Andreychenko allegedly walked in the store with a big gun, a bunch of ammo, and body armor last Thursday. He apparently posted on Facebook recently he was mad you can’t buy ammo if you’re not 21, but you can carry a weapon in the store.

The prosecutor says you can openly carry, but you can’t act in a reckless and criminal manner endangering others. He’s charged Andreychenko with making a terrorist threat. That felony could lead to a four-year prison sentence.
