Missouri’s State Historical Society has a new home.
The grand opening was Saturday at the building near the Mizzou campus. Missourinet reports the new center has an auditorium and a much larger art gallery, as well as classrooms and a bookstore.
It has more than twice the size of its home for 105 years, the basement of Ellis Library.
Saturday marked the 198th anniversary of Missouri joining the union.
