State Rep concerned with flooding plans

Just what you don’t need. More flood water coming down the Missouri River.

Jefferson City Representative Dave Griffith doesn’t agree with the Corps of Engineers’ plan to open up the upstream dams.

“Really, we don’t have much of a voice.  They have their own chain of command and they march to their own orders,” he said. “Trying to work with them can be frustrating.”

Griffith is concerned that those releases in the Dakotas will only add to the flooding here in Mid-Missouri.
