A Columbia motorist is jailed without bond and is charged with eight felonies for allegedly hitting four people with his vehicle after Sunday’s chaotic early-morning fight in a parking lot on Old Highway 63.

Columbia Police say one of those struck suffered life-threatening injuries.

Boone County prosecutors have charged 19-year-old Andy Cenobio with four counts of first degree assault and four counts of armed criminal action. A motion from Boone County prosecutors says the incident caused at least two broken ankles and a head injury in the parking lot of El Poblano Grill and Cantina. The Columbia Police Department’s probable cause statement says the victim with the head injury has a brain bleed.

Cenobio is quoted by police in court documents as saying he was trying to scare the other four with his truck but may have hit them.

CPD credits Flock cameras for helping them capture Cenobio in mid-Missouri’s Osage County.
