Boone County assistant prosecutor Risa Perkins is lead prosecutor in this case. Isaac Bryant wore a dark suit, blue tie and dress shoes in court on Tuesday. He also wore glasses and took notes during jury selection. There were four or five members of Mr. Ware’s family who watched jury selection from the back of the courtroom.

939 the Eagle News reported after the murder that Bryant had been paroled from prison in September 2021, after serving four years of a seven-year sentence for second degree robbery and second degree assault.
