Some Wednesday morning snowfall caused tough road conditions, leading to several crashes and slide-offs.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to many traffic incidents, mainly before noon. One of the incidents involved a car crashing into a patrol cruiser on Highway 63 between Ashland and Jefferson City. The trooper was not hurt. Another crash on Highway 63 involved someone crashing into the back of a fire truck.

There were no serious injuries reported in any mid-Missouri accident on Wednesday.
The National Weather Service reported 1.6 inches of snow at Columbia Regional Airport before noon Wednesday. MoDot rated major mid-Missouri roads as at least mostly clear by Wednesday night.
