Woman charged with involuntary manslaughter after crash victim dies

The woman accused of hitting a pedestrian on a south Columbia street in May is now charged with first degree involuntary manslaughter.

The Eagle previously reported Randall Siddens died Tuesday from his injuries.

Regine McCracken was accused of speeding and on a video chat while driving when she swerved across a lane of traffic and hit Siddens.

According to court records, the Boone County assistant prosecutor also filed a motion to revoke McCraken’s bond.
