Boone County commissioners have issued a proclamation in support of Ukraine, and a wreath-laying ceremony is set for this (Thursday) morning.
Our news partner ABC-17 reports the United States Exercise Tiger Foundation will lay wreaths with blue and yellow flowers at 8 am at the Boone County memorial. Parkade Baptist church pastor Chris Cook will be attending: he recently returned from a humanitarian mission to Ukraine.
KMIZ reports a U.S. Navy officer will ring a bell for those in Ukraine as well as for American veterans. Organizers are appealing for tourniquets, saying Ukraine is in desperate need of them.
