The University of Missouri Board of Curators on Thursday approved the plan for a new MU Children’s Hospital.
The seven-story facility will go up at Hitt and Lake streets near the campus hospital site. The $232 million is set to open in 2024.
The university plans to move out of the current Women’s and Children’s Hospital, starting in 2021. No word yet on what will happen with that building.
