2-4″ of snow in mid-Missouri forecast Friday

It’s looking like another tough travel day.

Jayson Gosselin with the National Weather Service said the snow was expected to start falling either late Friday morning or early in the afternoon.

“We’re looking at temperatures in the mid 20’s, so snow that does fall will be able to accumulate pretty easily on any untreated roadways.”

Gosselin says to expect 2-4″ of snow on Friday, with the Jefferson City area getting higher amounts than Columbia.

Another half inch of snow and a little freezing drizzle are possible on Saturday night.
