A fire has done significant damage to a local fast food place.
Authorities say the fire started at about 1 a.m. Friday at the Hardee’s on West Jackson in Mexico.
Investigators report it started in the office area of the restaurant, and spread above the ceiling.
The Hardee’s has significant heat and smoke damage. No one was hurt.
