Arrest made after Columbia shooting; victim suffers life-threatening injuries

Columbia Police say the victim who was shot Monday night near Douglass Park suffered life-threatening injuries.

Detectives say the victim was shot at about 8:20 p.m., in the 400 block of North Providence Road.

Columbia Police say 40-year-old Jemikia Jordan has been arrested on several counts. Formal charges have not been filed yet.

The investigation continues.
