More people voted absentee during Tuesday’s municipal election, which was delayed because of coronavirus concerns.
Boone County Clerk Brianna Lennon says more than one-fourth of the votes cast for the election were made absentee. Total turnout was 11.87%, nearly identical to April 2017 (11.93%) when several of the same races were on the ballot.
